The oldest tree in the world “Sri Maha Bo Tree “is well known among tourists and can be seen in the sacred city of Anuradhapura.
Sri Lanka is well known as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. Some people introduce it as paradise on the earth planet as it is full of natural resources, wilds animals, beautiful birds and most importantly smiling people who are well known for courtesy, politeness and good manners.
Bird watchers will be thrilled to see Sri Lankan birds. Elephants are associated with religious festivals in Sri Lanka, can be seen walking in the busy streets or bathing in rivers or lakes. Wild elephants, crocodiles, herds of dears, wild buffalos are plenty in the jungles. It is interesting for the travelers to arrange a tour in jungles.

Population of the country is around 18 million people with a democratically elected government in power and it is a sovereign nation.
